Exposing Trafficking is a survivor-led initiative committed to truth-telling, healing, and systemic change.
Founded by Shayla Davila- a human trafficking survivor, national consultant, podcast host, and holistic coach- Exposing Trafficking exists to do more than raise awareness. We are here to challenge the systems that harm, educate the people who serve, and walk alongside survivors on their healing journey.
Through lived experience, trauma-informed strategy, and deep-rooted advocacy, we aim to shift not just minds- but policies, practices, and culture.
Our work is rooted in the belief that survivors don’t just need saving- they need a space to lead!
This is where Voices Rise and Justice Begins!
Why We’re Here
Because trafficking doesn’t happen in isolation- it’s enabled by systemic failures, institutional neglect, and a culture that criminalizes survivors while protecting exploiters.
Because prevention is meaningless without accountability.
Because survivors deserve more than a seat at the table- they deserve to lead the conversation.
Because raising awareness isn’t enough. We need Reform, Healing, and Truth.
Exposing Trafficking is here to:
Uplift Survivor Voices
Challenge the systems that harm
Educate those who serve
Equip families to protect
Support survivors in healing
Create change that lasts
We’re not here for performative allyship or shallow reform- we’re here for deep, transformative, survivor-centered change.
If you’re ready to do the real work and stand beside survivors- not above them- you’re in the right place.
